Trust the Experts
One important thing to remember when choosing a provider for your Invisalign treatment is that orthodontists are specialists and therefore have a higher level of training and experience in straightening teeth.
An orthodontist has the proper training and experience to evaluate and treat the entire case and achieve the best result possible. Even among the specialists though, there are different levels of experience.
At Bubon Orthodontics, our doctors are the most experienced Invisalign providers in Wisconsin by far! This can be confirmed by the fact that we are the only VIP Diamond+ provider in the state. This means you will get the experience needed to properly straighten your teeth and improve your bite.
What is a VIP Diamond+ Provider?
Icons shown on the Invisalign’s Web Locator reflect the amount of experience a practice has using Invisalign. The VIP icon (that only Bubon Orthodontics has) means that our practice treats more Invisalign patients than 99% of the rest of the nation!
Why should you care? Because when it comes to Invisalign, experience matters. Our VIP status means that we have completed more Invisalign cases than any other doctor in the state. Because of our experience level, we are able to treat patients that have been told that they were not a candidate for Invisalign.
Invisalign is a new method of tooth movement that requires a substantial level of experience in order to achieve the desired result. The doctor has to know what tooth movements are difficult to achieve using aligners and take the necessary steps to facilitate better movements in those instances. Without this knowledge that comes from experience, the final result may be less than was hoped for.
So go to the doctor who knows all the “ins and outs” of Invisalign treatment. Go to the doctors with the most training and experience—because experience matters.
Bubon Orthodontics Uses Only the Most Advanced Technology
Technology has resolved one of the only inconvenient issues with respect to Invisalign treatment. No longer will patients have to have rubber molds made of their mouths and sent to Invisalign for scanning. Welcome the iTero Scanner!
The iTero Scanner is one of the most exciting achievements in dentistry to date. This device is capable of mapping your mouth in a fashion that is comfortable, reliable, safe and accurate. Watch the video below showing how the iTero Scanner works from our TMJ4 – Morning Blend Segment.
With the iTero Scanner, you not only avoid impressions which can be a nuisance and uncomfortable, but you also get your aligners back much faster! This is because the scan is emailed directly to Align Technologies and put in the queue for processing. With impressions, there was shipping time and the time necessary to scan the impressions themselves.
With the iTero Scanner, the time necessary to make the aligners is cut in half!
What is the iTero Scanner?
The iTero Scanner is a high technology scanning wand that can create a digital map of your mouth. The image can be used for diagnostic purposes, crown fabrication, or Invisalign fabrication.
Patients are encouraged to view their images as they are taken. After the images are complete, we then create a 3D image of your mouth. The technology is more convenient than the old method and has been found to be even more accurate than using liquid plaster. Getting straight teeth has never been simpler or easier!
What Is Dental Laser Technology?
At Bubon Orthodontics, we have the capability of contouring the gums around teeth to enhance smile esthetics! This can be done painlessly, safely, and easily by the use of dental laser technology. There is no downtime to these procedures. The use of lasers on the gums was first approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the early 1990s, but many advances have been made in dental laser technology since then. At Bubon Orthodontics, we use one of the highest performing dental lasers on the market. Our dental lasers have a unique feature called ComfortPulse™ technology, which is gentler on soft tissue, eliminates any bleeding, reduces the need for anesthetic, and allows for rapid healing.
This young girl’s gum tissue had grown over her upper front teeth. Even regular dental cleanings were unable to help reduce the gum swelling, which persisted for years before Dr. Bubon performed laser gum surgery on her.
It took 2 painless visits to achieve these dramatic results! Note how much nicer her teeth look after the gum contouring. We still have to straighten her teeth with braces, but her smile looks a lot better already!
